Summary

This study performed solar radiation modeling (SOLWEIG model) based on LiDAR data in a high-density residential area of Jungnang-gu, Seoul, to simulate radiative flux at pedestrian height and verified it with surface energy balance system observations. The results showed high accuracy on clear days, and differences in radiation temperature were observed depending on shadow effects in buildings and vegetated areas. This demonstrates a reliable methodology for managing urban heat stress.
