Summary

This study explores the principles of practical integration education in elementary school social studies, aiming to overcome the limitations of existing social studies integration perspectives. Practical social studies integration prioritizes connections with elements both within and outside the subject, fostering productivity through the creation of new knowledge narratives. To achieve this, teachers need to accumulate curriculum experience by teaching the same grade(s) for an extended period and continuously expand their knowledge to connect it to the curriculum.
