This study critically examines whether the operation of arts education curricula in domestic universities is faithful to its original purpose based on Schiller's aesthetic education theory. The analysis reveals a lack of aesthetic competency in the design of liberal arts education and curriculum operation, along with an imbalance between theory and experience and poor operational status. The study suggests the need for curriculum improvement and the development of new educational models, referencing Schiller's guidelines for arts education.
