Summary

This study analyzed the effects of childcare teachers' perception of professionalism, happiness, and emotional intelligence on teacher-child interaction. The results showed that perception of professionalism and happiness were major predictors of interaction quality, with job ethics being the strongest predictor among the sub-factors of professionalism. Programs to enhance teachers' happiness and professionalism are needed to improve teacher-child interaction.
