Summary

This study evaluates landslide risk based on the factor of safety according to rainfall variation and proposes a landslide risk index considering the infiltration depth of rainfall into the soil layer. The results show that the factor of safety tends to decrease as rainfall intensity increases, and the infiltration depth is deeper on gentle slopes. The proposed landslide risk index, compared with past landslide rainfall conditions, indicates that most landslides occurred at a grade of 2 or higher.
