Summary
This study examined the experiences of social workers at home support service centers in providing mental health services to the elderly through in-depth interviews. The results showed that social workers experienced alienation of mental health services, courageous challenges, roles as social work practitioners, and the value of sharing practice, enhancing growth and understanding with clients. Based on these findings, practical suggestions were made for mental health interventions in welfare services for the elderly.
