Summary

Chemical composition analysis of PM1.0 measured in Incheon during the winter of 2017 revealed that organic matter and nitrate were the major components, with higher concentrations at night. The nitrate oxidation rate (NOR) increased during high-concentration periods, and the NOx/SO2 ratio and nitrate/sulfate ratio suggested the influence of nearby power plants and vehicle emissions.
