Summary

This study analyzed the correlation between job characteristics (external dependency, job density) and preference for flexible work arrangements among public institution workers. The results showed that preference for flexible work arrangements varies depending on job characteristics; jobs with high external dependency prefer shorter working hours, while jobs with high job density prefer flexibility in time and location. This suggests the need to introduce flexible work arrangements considering individual job characteristics.
