Summary

This study empirically investigated the impact of Dark Triad personality traits on the effectiveness of humorous advertising containing violence. The results of the experiment showed that humor content-product fit and justification of violence significantly influenced advertising effectiveness, with narcissism having a positive effect and Machiavellianism having a negative effect.
