Summary

This study investigated the induction experiences of six novice elementary English teachers and their development of teaching skills through reflective teaching practice. The findings revealed that the teachers experienced a lack of formal induction education and developed their teaching skills through voluntary professional development and clinical supervision. They also requested institutional support for effective in-service and pre-service teacher education.
