Summary

This study analyzed foreign gifted and talented programs in Humanities and Social Sciences focusing on scope, sequence, and enrichment and acceleration of content elements. The results showed that the programs included content beyond the general curriculum, were linked to career paths, and covered cognitive, affective, and social aspects, structured based on prior learning, from whole to part, and from simple to complex content. Enrichment involved introducing higher concepts, presenting challenging tasks, and enhancing cognitive skills, while acceleration utilized upper-grade achievement standards.
