This article examines Silla’s ruling system over the Noin (slaves) recorded in the Bongpyeongnibi in 524. By distinguishing Noinchon (slave villages) from general villages, the study identifies Nammijichon as the only slave village and infers that the residents of the slave village were mobilized for national corvée labor along with the residents of general villages. Furthermore, it analyzes that the method of governing the slave village through village officials became possible after the slave group was organized into a village.
