Summary

This study comparatively analyzes the factors influencing changes in national nuclear power policies after the Fukushima nuclear accident using fuzzy-set analysis from a historical institutionalism perspective. The analysis reveals that public social acceptance serves as a sufficient condition for the expansion of nuclear power policy, while factors like greenhouse gas reduction pressure and policy diffusion affect the expansion depending on combined conditions.
