This study explores the perception of public conflicts and management methods in Jeju society through a survey of members of the Resident Self-governing Committee. Public conflicts are increasing, and there is a need to establish institutional devices for conflict resolution. Ensuring stakeholder participation, transparent administration, institutional improvement, and preemptive conflict impact assessment are suggested as conflict management methods.
