Summary

This study developed a hybrid measurement system integrating commercial sensors and optical sensors with IoT-based wireless communication technology to improve the safety of large-scale infrastructure such as railways. The developed system addresses the limitations of fiber optic sensors and the installation/maintenance costs of wired communication, enabling effective structural health monitoring.
