Summary

This study empirically analyzed the mediating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between salesperson's Big Five personality traits and product sales types (customer/sales orientation). The results showed that openness and extraversion significantly influenced job satisfaction, while openness, extraversion, and neuroticism affected customer orientation, and openness, agreeableness, and conscientiousness impacted sales orientation.
