Summary

This study presents a method to enhance infrared signals by fabricating a thin nanocrystalline metal-organic framework (nMOF) film on a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) substrate to detect gaseous volatile organic compounds. Specifically, an nHKUST-1 film was successfully applied to the infrared detection of gaseous benzene in air, demonstrating enhanced sensitivity.
