Summary

This study investigated the effect of answer option presentation methods on the results of Korean listening and reading assessments, focusing on questions involving detailed information comprehension. Experimental results with foreign learners showed that listening assessments were more affected by answer option composition than reading assessments, and presenting options in the order of information presentation in the passage was particularly effective. The impact of answer option composition varied depending on the learner's level, and this difference was more prominent in listening assessments.
