Summary

This study investigated gene flow from herbicide resistant canola to other Brassicaceae crops. Hybridization between canola and Chinese cabbage, turnip, and leaf mustard was confirmed, and gene flow was verified through PCR analysis. Low hybridization rates were observed in Chinese cabbage and turnip, and the results can be used as basic data for establishing safety management practices for GM canola.
