Summary

This study aimed to develop a scale for teachers’ perception of child abuse in early childhood education institutions and to verify its validity and reliability. The results showed that a scale consisting of three sub-factors (teachers, organizations, and young children) with 42 questions, based on the causes of child abuse, was developed and found to be suitable for measuring teachers’ perception of child abuse in the field of early childhood education.
