Summary

This study analyzes the effect of a Teacher Participation-oriented Education Program (TPEP) centered on Multi-Faceted Analysis of Elementary Science Classes on the class expertise of novice teachers. The TPEP was developed through image and eye-tracking analysis of science classes, with participants analyzing classes of experienced and novice teachers to improve instruction. The results highlight the need for class analysis experience for teachers, identify limitations in existing observation methods, and emphasize the importance of developing TPEP to enhance novice teachers’ expertise.
