This study examined the effects of teaching efficacy and social support on the organizational commitment of beginning childcare teachers. The results showed a positive correlation between teaching efficacy, social support at work, and organizational commitment, with social support at work having the greatest impact on emotional and continuous commitment. This suggests the importance of these factors for the organizational adaptation of beginning childcare teachers.
