Summary

This study aimed to investigate the learning assessment trends of STEAM programs to provide basic data for activating process-oriented assessment. Analysis of 289 STEAM programs in elementary, middle, and high schools revealed that product evaluation was dominant in elementary and middle schools, while written assessments were common in high schools, and teachers primarily conducted summative evaluations using checklists. While STEAM programs attempt to shift towards process-oriented assessment, integration of instruction, assessment, and records remains insufficient.
