Summary
This study analyzed the structural relationships among parental educational enthusiasm, child's self-esteem, internalized/externalized problems, and school adjustment according to the child's gender. The results showed significant gender differences in father's educational enthusiasm, self-esteem, externalized problems, and school adjustment, and father's educational enthusiasm was found to increase externalized problems in boys but decrease them in girls.
