Summary

This study aims to identify research trends in domestic maker education by analyzing 104 related studies published from 2014 to 2019. The analysis revealed a quantitative increase in maker education research from 2017, primarily focusing on elementary and middle school students and makerspaces, with a strong emphasis on maker education program development research. Further research is needed to expand into areas such as early childhood, university students, pre-service teachers, maker education materials, and experimental studies.
