Summary

This study analyzed elementary social studies assessment plans and teacher perceptions to identify problems in the assessment planning stage and propose improvements. The analysis revealed issues such as confusion of areas and terms, bias towards specific content, and a lack of concrete evaluation criteria in assessment plans, and teachers experienced difficulties in creating these plans. To address these issues, the development and dissemination of assessment templates with various examples and integrated evaluation tasks linked to analytical rubrics are necessary.
