Summary
This study analyzed design art pieces auctioned at Seoul Auction to identify the types and expansion of design art. The results showed that design art demonstrates functional, experiential, and spatial expansion according to the artist's experimental spirit and social changes, and the fusion of furniture and contemporary art opened new possibilities for design art. This contributes to breaking the boundaries between design and art and expanding into a new field.
