Summary

This action research aimed to improve classroom assessment in a physics class by analyzing the causes of scoring discrepancies in descriptive assessments based on student survey results and improving the scoring rubric. The revised scoring rubric was applied to re-score student answers, and the causes were identified as a lack of understanding of the scoring rubric, misalignment between teaching methods and assessment, and difficulties in interpreting student answers.
