Summary

This study explored the educational meaning of Relations-based Employee Assistance Education Program(R-EAP) in three aspects: relations, growth, and the unity of knowing and living. R-EAP emphasizes relationships based on understanding the systemic world and human beings, promotes growth through the fusion of various horizons, and aims for learners to integrate knowledge and practice through self-directed change. This exploration provides implications for parent education and the hermeneutic instructional design of R-EAP.
