This study analyzed that perfectionism of local university students positively influences career preparation behavior through the mediation of interpersonal relationships. The analysis of 623 university students revealed that perfectionism has a positive effect on both interpersonal relationships and career preparation behavior. This provides important implications for career education and psychological counseling guidance for local university students.
