Summary

This study analyzed the current status of environmental education courses in teacher training institutes, revealing that the proportion of environmental education courses is low overall, particularly in early childhood teacher training colleges. The courses mainly cover natural environment, environmental pollution, and environmental preservation, focusing on improving pre-service teachers' knowledge, but courses for developing their educational capacity are relatively scarce.
