Summary

This study developed and operated an integrated module system by subject for basic chemistry class to strengthen competencies such as collaborative working skills, analytic thinking skills, and communicating skills. Survey results indicated that the module integrating lecture, experiment, and science writing positively affected academic achievement and interest. Further improvements are needed for other modules and the development of a writing activity evaluation system.
