Summary

This study investigated the effects of disability-awareness fairy tale volunteer work on pre-service preschool teachers' teacher efficacy and sense of community. The results showed a significant increase in both teacher efficacy and sense of community after the volunteer work, with higher satisfaction levels correlating with greater improvements. These findings suggest the importance of special education-related field experiences and volunteer activities in pre-service early childhood teacher education.
