This study analyzes the impact of terminating anti-dumping measures on trade and examines its effects on the domestic industry to provide policy implications for the prolongation of long-term anti-dumping measures. Empirical analysis reveals that there were no significant changes in import volume or price after the termination of anti-dumping measures, and the long-term high tariff anti-dumping measures had a minimal effect on reducing imports and substituting with domestic or third-country products. Therefore, careful consideration should be given to the potential recovery of import volume and prices when deciding to extend anti-dumping measures.
