Summary

This study analyzed the subjective perceptions of underachieving university students in culinary skills-related practical courses using Q methodology after applying peer learning, identifying the need for increased learning effectiveness, development of lesson materials for passive students, and practical self-directed learning. Peer learning contributed to increased learning interest and self-confidence, but some students felt burdened by the possibility of disrupting others.
