Summary

This study investigated the effects of backpack weight on cervical posture and neck muscle activity in university students. The craniovertebral angle decreased and neck muscle activity increased as backpack weight increased. The study recommends that students should not carry backpacks exceeding 15% of their body weight and distribute the load evenly for optimal posture.
