Summary

This study analyzes the current state of Korean language education in Hungary, focusing on the Korean Studies department at ELTE University, and also examines the educational status of non-degree programs such as the Sejong Institute and Korean-American School. Korean language education in Hungary faces issues such as a lack of Korean language and literature education, short learning hours, and difficulties in educating children of Korean residents. Based on these issues, the study suggests directions for future improvement.
