Summary

This study demonstrates that preservice history teachers can enhance their understanding of Korean history textbooks and develop educational sensitivity through the experience of textbook writing. Specifically, the experience of writing a textbook can contribute to preservice history teachers understanding the perspective of textbooks as consumers and participating in discussions about Korean history textbooks.
