Summary
This study investigated the influence of individual and regional level characteristics on obesity using multilevel logistic regression analysis. The results showed that individual factors such as gender, education level, occupation, and health status were associated with obesity, and regional factors such as financial independence and crude divorce rate also had an impact. Differences in the risk levels of factors influencing obesity were observed based on gender.
