This study examined the influence of emotional dissonance on the perception of elder abuse among Long-Term Care Workers and the mediating effect of Job Stress. The results indicated that emotional dissonance and Job Stress negatively affected the perception of elder abuse, and Job Stress partially mediated the relationship between emotional dissonance and the perception of elder abuse.
