Summary

This paper proposes a new hazardous sound detection system for smart home environments, utilizing a modified MFCC to overcome the limitations of conventional MFCC. The modified MFCC incorporates a Wiener filter and a modified filterbank to enhance noise and background noise removal, and demonstrates improved training accuracy and recognition rate through an LSTM deep learning model.
