Summary

This study longitudinally examined the reciprocal relationship between the quality of life (QOL) of individuals with disabilities and their families. The results showed that the QOL of individuals with disabilities and their families positively influenced each other over time, and the QOL of family members increased with age, while age was irrelevant for individuals with disabilities. This suggests the need for integrated interventions to improve the QOL of individuals with disabilities and their families.
