Summary

This study analyzed YouTube videos of hydrogen peroxide decomposition experiments to examine how science experiment images are consumed and transformed in the new media environment. The analysis revealed that bubbles produced through experiments act as a key symbol and are transformed into more stimulating images to promote content consumption. The study points out the positive aspects of new media, as well as the risk of focusing solely on creating spectacular images, and emphasizes the importance of science media literacy.
