Summary

This study investigated the effects of early childhood teachers’ empowerment and awareness of rewards on their self-development desire. The results showed a significant positive correlation between empowerment and awareness of rewards and self-development desire, with empowerment having a relatively greater impact. Self-efficacy and position, sub-factors of empowerment, influenced the desire for development in professional, personal, and organizational areas, respectively.
