Summary

This study reexamines research trends and future perspectives by analyzing 81 non-life insurance-related articles published in the Journal of Risk Management over the past 30 years. Non-life insurance research accounts for approximately 20% of the total papers, and the study analyzes the characteristics of research trends and problem-solving approaches for each insurance category, including auto insurance, special insurance, marine/guarantee/deposit/third insurance, and catastrophe/reinsurance. The results show that current concerns have been consistently reviewed in the past, and academic efforts are needed to adapt to a rapidly changing environment with globalization.
