This paper examines the pleasure travels of Andong scholars in the early 19th century, based on Gang Ju-ho’s travel diaries. Gang Ju-ho traveled with Baeknok Gang Si-hwan to various regions, including Mount Taebaek, Mount Sokni, Mount Gaya, and Mount Geumgang, visiting tourist attractions and interacting with various people. These pleasure trips were a time for studying Confucianism and consoling himself over the death of his son.
