Summary

This study aimed to identify the continuous genetic variation caused by benzyladenine (BA) treatment in strawberry tissue culture. Morphological and genetic variation tests were performed on the ‘Goha’ cultivar treated with different BA concentrations for three years, revealing high morphological variation and a decreasing rate of genetic variation over time. The results suggest using a BA concentration of less than 1.0 mg・L-1 for the propagation of strawberry tissue culture plants.
