Summary

This study analyzed the diagnostic distribution of psychiatric disorders in Korean young adults (aged 19-30) based on age and gender using health insurance data. The results showed that the diagnostic frequency was significantly higher in women than in men, with anxiety disorders and depression being the most common psychiatric disorders. These findings can contribute to understanding the trends in the occurrence of mental illness during young adulthood and identifying associations with biological or environmental factors.
