Summary

This study analyzed the effects of developing a reading program based on visual thinking and presentation activities in high school Home Economics. The results showed that the developed program is valuable as a new approach to home economics and classes, and helps deepen understanding of subject knowledge and improve critical thinking and communication skills. This is significant in that it suggests a new approach to Home Economics reading education and identifies its educational value.
