Summary

This study investigated the relationship between playfulness and play recognition among pre-service early childhood teachers. The results showed that pre-service teachers’ playfulness was slightly above average, and their play recognition was high, with a significant positive correlation between the two. Notably, fourth-year pre-service teachers demonstrated higher levels of play recognition compared to other grades.
